The word ‘politics‘ is nothing but is an art or science governing the people. It is an activity involving the execution of power, control, competition, and law and order at different levels of governance. In addition to this political scenario evolves in our daily life: politics in the family, community, society, state, and nation. Moreover, we grow in the scope of it as we are progressing as a developing nation.
The impact of politics on social arenas…
As already mentioned, life itself is evolving and growing in the community and at the society level where good governance is the utmost importance in a country like India, nevertheless, it is one of the largest democracy in the world. Being a democratic country the public plays a huge role in contributing to form the government.
Rights and liberties
Citizen of India are given the fundamental rights: rights to inequality, right to freedom, right against exploitation, freedom of religion, cultural and educational rights, rights to constitutional remedies and individual is given the right to move freely and reside anywhere in the country, we are privileged to be an Indian, indeed so much grateful to the maker of the constitution of our country.
Election and voting
Citizens must be 18 and attained the age and above. The citizen participates in shaping the government at the regional and national levels. Subsequently, political parties play an important role during the time of the election. There are basically regional parties and national parties.
Political scenario
During the election, the parties campaign, and often the agents bribe the voters with money or goods. Also, the candidate made empty promises that action of the sentiments of the public. So often when the candidate comes to power he or she turns a blind eye to the promises and grievances. Undoubtedly, the corruption of power and money exists in our country. So to curb these undesirable activities, an exemplary leader, like Anna Hazare led the forefront of anti-corruption who protested in a peaceful way.
Democracy status…
In addition to all these, the current situation of India is to ponder on…is India going away from the ideology of democracy? Often news about the act of workers, laborers, and minor children working in industries and mines, etc., which is disturbing and violating basic human rights. Moreover, the condition of Jammu and Kashmir is no better, the violation of the fundamental rights which is rightful for every citizen is barred. Number of politicians, political leaders, administrators, etc., are under house arrests or jailed for the past one year. The situation aggravates public sentiments all around the world.
Health issues:
Above all, social health is important for the prosperity of the country. As the saying goes, “health is wealth”. The alarming situation of the spread of COVID-19 at an enormous rate affects the socio-economy of the world. The government and administration at various levels take measures in dealing the pandemic.
Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi duty in aiding and tackling the issues is engaged in celebrating the victory of the Hindus to build Ram temple at Ayodhya. Besides the inadequate supplies of medical apparatus and equipment and also the unavailability of beds at the government hospitals for COVID patients, medical practitioners, trained nurses, and doctors are suffering while battling at the frontline. The problems and hardships of these medical practitioners must be encountered at the earliest as political scenario is getting worse. It is obvious that the country is gradually failing in governance and administration at all stake.
The whole political scenario is saddening and depressing enough for the common man. It is important that the government look into the serious issues currently encountered by the whole country. The provision of aids and amenities, for the large population lost their job and left homeless due to this pandemic. Hope a better day will rise for a new beginning.
